Oracle Goldengate 19c/23ai Microservices has the following core services:
- Service Manager - Responsible for managing one or more Oracle GoldenGate deployments on a host server
- Receiver Service - It replaces the multiple, discrete Collector processes of the Classic Architecture.
- Distribution Service - It replaces the classic architecture's data pumps.
- Administration Service - Central control entity that manages the replication components (Extracts and Replicats).
- Performance Metrics Service - collects, stores, and provides performance data through a single interface.
- Configuration Service - New to 23ai, but optional. Manages the configuration files and can store checkpoint and recovery information in a database repository.
